Divinski, Becky: - Becky Divinski grew up with cats in Torrance, California. She enjoys hiking, traveling (noticing cats during her journeys), and eating a variety of foods (a favorite of her cats.) In her work as a parent and teacher educator (she is a Certified Positive Discipline Lead Trainer), Becky became familiar with a German word, Gemeinschaftsgefühl, a word often used by 19th-century Viennese psychotherapist Alfred Adler, which means "social interest; a sense of community." She values this concept, whether dealing with people or our animal friends.Becky's history with cats (Appendix B) and her recent big adventure led her to share the story and wisdom gained from this experience. "A Beautiful Cat Story: What Happened After the First Meow" is Becky's first book.
