A Horse in Heaven
"A health spa...in Mexico? You've got to be kidding."
Fifteen-year-old Alexis Tremaine reacts in shock and despair when one week before the start of her sophomore year of high school, her mother informs her that their family will spend the next four months at a health spa in Mexico-for her father's health.
Forced to leave friends, a boyfriend, and hardest of all, her beautiful mare Star Fire, a champion jumper, Alexis's life turns upside down and goes sideways.

...until on a sunrise walk on the beach, she glimpses a rider on a ghostly gray horse performing upper-level dressage movements.
If Alexis can discover where this horse came from, maybe there's a chance her life could once again involve horses.
