A Pirate's Tales

S. P. Cammick

Lifelong friends that grew up in the Florida Keys, are now boat bums just scraping by at the bottom of the food chain, poaching lobster, committing small time crime and hustling tourists. They spend their days out on the water and their nights at seedy bars or drinking the night away aboard their dilapidated old Chris Craft, Old Moe.

While out pursuing their illegal fishing activities in the Marquesas Keys, they stumbled upon a gold coin, realizing their lifelong dream. Held since witnessing Mel Fisher bring The Mother Lode into Key West on that fateful July day in 1985. They recovered what they could until their scuba tanks were empty, then returned to Key West to prepare for more treasure hunting and the adventures that lay ahead.

Finding more treasure didn't bring the happiness and the good life they planned, just the opposite. The trials, tribulations and danger that befell them, both on land and at sea, was more than they bargained for. Join them on their voyage as they travel from Marathon to the Marquesas and up the coast from the everglades to Fort Myers Beach and destinations north.
