A Thousand Small Steps: A Journey Through Grace and Healing

Kathy Sisson

A Thousand Small Steps is an unflinching collection of poetry documenting five transformative years from Kathy's ongoing odyssey with PTSD. These poems were first published on her blog athousandsmallsteps.com where she continues to write and post poems. Here are some powerfully penned lessons in patience with one's foibles and stumbles, an invitation to "honor one's 'becoming." "Standing naked" in her "solitary wisdom," Sisson offers these poems as a balm for the harshness of our current condition, for "sorrows that sour the tongue." -Susan Detlefsen, PhD
