Abolish The Anti-Childhood Pandemic: Self-help from psychology and mindfulness for personal development

Rebekka Brandt

Do you remember the sentence: "What should people think of us?!" In order to present the family well to the outside world, parents make sure that the children are "adjusted". It's not always the case that parents want the best for their children. It is much more likely that educators unconsciously act out of self-centered motives. Parents, teachers, etc. often put themselves in the "right light" and then someone else has to do that. These are usually the children.

Parents unconsciously "project" their own psychological problems onto their children and so "unhealthy" patterns are passed on from generation to generation. The title of this book is not just about a specific event, as one might assume. The author, Rebekka Brandt, portrayed it so radically because the "wrong" upbringing is reminiscent of a virus that spreads and infects most people. But only the psychological level is meant and in order to break this "toxic" educational cycle, the author explains the scientifically proven healing effects of meditation and to what extent it makes sense to teach this in school.
