Matthew 12:28 The Lord also caused shockwaves in the religious community when He read this Scripture from Isaiah 61: The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He hath anointed Me to preach the Gospel to the poor; He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Luke 4:18-19 The same Holy Spirit who empowered Jesus while He lived as a man on earth, and the apostles who followed Him, is still dwelling with and in us. And as the unchanging God, the Holy Spirit has been mightily empowering and using the saints today.
