Personal note from the author: I hope when you read this you will find the same catharsis I felt in writing these poems. Being as it took me over a decade to write these I want to make it clear: all of these poems were written during times of very high emotion. I have moved past and worked through a lot of these things, so they are now simply poems to remind me of where I was and where I would like to be going forward in life. Others I have yet to fully process and they are still my way of reminding myself of the standard I hold myself to in my life and what I refuse to accept moving forward in my life. I wish each and every one of you who do read this a wonderful experience and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
