It's the story of Cecil, an ordinary sea oat who is called upon to do the impossible.

Cecil grows with all the other sea oats on his dune by the ocean. His great friend, Red the Fox, lives in a den behind the dune. When all the other sea oats on the dune wither and blow away, Cecil is left alone to hold the dune together and save his friend in the face of a hurricane.

Can he find the courage? Is he, so small, strong enough?
