Cillian Tavish, an enforcer for the Irish Mafia in Boston, had settled on going through life with one night stands and to focus all his energy on his band of brothers. That is, until he saves a mysterious girl from the grips of a rival gang, and his world is turned upside down.
Mila Smirnova was trained by the Russian Bratva to avoid capture, much less be held captive by a rival gang. Luckily a tall, tattooed Irishman takes her in and cares for her as no one has before. When her people want her back, will she be able to choose between blood and bond?
"This was a great mafia romance read that had me wanting more from the first page! I loved Mila's character and how BA she was. But she was also able to be vulnerable with Cillian and he was able to understand her past.
The spice also deserves its own shout out because hot dang!!! Alina did an amazing job with this one and I highly recommend it!

"This was my introduction to Alina Marty{sic] and it did not disappoint. I love a good Mafia romance, especially Irish. I will be reading more of her work.
The spin of roles between Mila and Cillian is electric and something I haven't read in books so far. Mila comes of meek and submissive but turns out to have a huge secret that could be a threat. Cillian is a Big Guy, he's all the things I picture for an Irish mafia man.
Mila is the heir to the Bratvq she has a dark past full of secrets which fall between childhood stories parents told their children to keep them in line and a truth.
Cillian is the nephew of the Skipper, he's very loyal to his clan and keeps his promises. He promises Mila his protection at any cost.
The spice is very well balanced with the plot; it's a great quick read."
