Even with her love of all things Halloween-creepy décor, vintage costumes, monster movie trivia-Sam's managed to stay off the radar.
But then her life turns into a real monster movie. Only this beast doesn't have fangs or claws-it's blonde, bold, and brimming with sarcasm. And it comes armed with a nickname: Halloweirdo.
Suddenly, Sam's normal is everyone else's strange, and middle school feels scarier than any zombie attack. Now she has a choice: tone it down to fit in... or embrace the weird and discover what real courage looks like.
