About the Author

Lahti, Elizabeth: - Elizabeth Lahti, MD, assistant professor, is clinical hospitalist and director of Narrative Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). Currently, she is collaborating with JSMA and the OHSU Wellness Leadership to lead Art Walks and Mixed-Media Creative Workshops with hospital faculty, staff, and students. In addition to her clinical and education roles, Dr. Lahti is faculty advisor for the Women's Leadership Development Program, Growth Factor Storytelling, and Narrative Medicine Interest Group. She is member of the Anti-Racism Task Force in the OHSU Center for Diversity and Inclusion, and recently presented her Journal of American Medical Association paper "Funding Opportunities Designed to Promote Antiracist Change Across a Health Sciences University" at the national meeting of the Association of American Medical Colleges in Seattle, Washington.
