Christy is a retired elementary school teacher who spent 30 years teaching children the art and science of writing. Bob is an armchair theologian, standing on the shoulders of the giants who came before him. Our goal is to combine these two skills and experiences to put a book into your hands that is beautiful, meaningful, and instructive. Understanding who Yahweh (Father) is and who we are in Him shapes the way we live, approach life, relate to others, and even how we love ourselves.

We believe in the God of the Bible. We believe the words spoken by and written about Yeshua (Jesus). We believe the Holy Spirit lives in us and has the deepest desire to love us, lead us, and have an ongoing relational dialogue with us. We believe that Father, Son, and Spirit exist as one, yet are three separate beings, each with their own independent personality - but never is One separate from the Others. They are united and in solidarity with one another, as well as in their love for us. We were created to live in unity with them; that is their goal and consistent desire.

There has never been a separation in the Trinity. They are what has always been, and they are what will always be. When nothing else existed, their relationship did. When Jesus was on the cross, Yahweh did not turn from Him. The Holy Spirit never left Him. It would have been impossible for it to happen. Jesus lived as a man, but was always Yahweh's son. Today, Jesus is still a man--obviously different from when He was physically here --but scripture says this is how He ascended to His Father. We believe that we are now a part of the Trinity as adopted sons and daughters because of Him. John 14:20 Jesus says, "In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you." This was the Apostle Paul's great mystery and what seemed to drive his passion. This is true now, just as it was 2000 years ago. This is our reality.

We believe that the incarnation (Jesus becoming a human) and eventual death at our hands (humanity) had multiple purposes. One was to show us who His Father is; to correct humanity's misconception of who He is; to, once and for all, correct Adam's delusion of separation from the Trinity. When Jesus, the Last Adam, cried out on the cross, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?" He was quoting Psalms 22. It is our opinion that at that moment, He was experiencing the depths of Adam's delusion - of our delusion of separation from His Father and our Father. The Trinity never left Adam; they have never left us, and Father and Spirit certainly never left Jesus - but it surely must have felt that way to Him, as it often feels that way to us.

It is our hope and prayer that our books will bless you and your little one. "I AM with You" is our second. We feel honored to bring to "life" in words and pictures truths from scripture. In the process, it is amazing how the Holy Spirit has revealed truths to us. We hope the same happens for you as you read these books.
