Hi,

I'm the old man, and I've reached that point in my life where I've been around long enough to have seen and done a lot of pretty cool things. I was born into a working-class family, with both mom and dad working in a factory, and I grew up-along with my older sister and younger brother-in the 40s, 50s, and early 60s, which was a time when kids were still allowed to be kids.

I married the love of my life, My Honey, in '65, raised three great kids, had a career (such as it was), and enjoyed a fairly long retirement. I am happy to say that my life has been a great trip filled with great family, awesome friends, interesting people, wonderful places, and fun adventures, and as such, I have decided to share some of it with others.

Using Facebook as the venue, I wrote a number of stories and posted them over roughly a two-year period, mainly during the COVID pandemic. These stories occurred during different times in my life. They all really happened, I told them as they happened, and as such, there may be some language used, or social/racial issues referenced, that some might take offense to. Be assured, no offense is intended.

At any rate, after receiving a lot of suggestions that I create a book, I decided to give it a go. Here are some of the stories I posted during that time. I hope all who read them will enjoy sharing in the musings of this old man.
