Linda McFerren is a retired English and special education teacher. A gifted storyteller, Linda has taught in the San Francisco Bay Area, Southern Oregon, and Tanzania, East Africa. Illustrator Lauretta Jenkins was an artist whose drawings were used on educational television. She lived on a small ranch in Northern California where she tended to her chickens, ducks, goats and horses.
