Jerry's New Shoes
I counted his legs: their number was eight,
That's six more than mine to hold his small weight.
I also did notice his feet were un-shoed-
how could I make comment without seeming rude?
Jerry the spider needs a few more shoes than you or I, since he has more feet-and yet he has none at all! Thankfully, what he does have is a good friend, who's going to help him find the perfect set.
A warmhearted story about creative re-use, self-expression, and the power of friendship to turn any problem into an adventure.
