When goblins begin to go missing, the rebel of Cerulean, Nadya, brings this to Cerulean's only elder left, Ecaris' attention. Together, they have vowed to keep their land out of the clutches of the incoming vampires.

Lavina, however, is torn between leaving to create a better life with Sable or siding with her to appease the power-hungry vampire. Sable - to Lavina's chagrin - is insistent on ruling over the village as its Queen. With her vampire-goblin hybrids in hand, will she succeed or will Lavina put a stop to it all?
