Edwards, Calvin Lionel: - Calvin Lionel Edwards was born in North Carolina, spending his childhood there, and then his formative years moving around the southwestern United States. The son of a hydrological engineer and a school teacher, he was instilled with a love of learning and reading from a young age. He wrote his first "story" in the fourth grade and continued to develop his writing craft from there. His major passion has always been history, which has been the greatest influence on both his writing and his life. When not writing, he is reading, enjoying movies, hiking, or working on model railroads. He currently resides in the southwestern United States.
