A passion for the genre led to a Master's of Science degree in information systems engineering in 2014. Charles's subsequent career as a computer consultant took him across the United States, while his personal travels spanned Europe, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe.As he embraced the philosophy, "Don't let your schooling get in the way of your education," Charles delved into metaphysical works with the Ancient Mystical Order Rosae Crucis (AMORC). Involvement with the fraternal order first ignited his passion for writing.In his travels, he met a beautiful woman in Eastern Europe.
