I wish you all safe and wonderful flights in the skies. Menderes Çakıcı, born in Ankara in 1965, graduated from the Middle East Technical University's Aeronautical Engineering program in 1988. Sent abroad by Turkish Airlines for pilot training, Çakıcı began flying as a co-pilot after completing his education. Throughout his career, he has flown Boeing 727, 737, RJ 70/100, Airbus 319-320-321, and Boeing 777 aircraft. A married man with two children, Çakıcı currently serves as a captain pilot and flight instructor on Boeing 777 aircraft. He is the author of numerous books on flight safety and aviation
