Her work life has been interesting and varied. Over the past twenty years, she worked as a biology professor, the CEO of a start-up company, the founder and president of a non-profit, a private tutor, a technical writer, a research scientist, a consultant, and a communications expert. Now, she's retired-kind of. Dr. Crocker writes books, publishes, does book tours, interacts with readers, and all the other jobs necessary to be an author. She is married and has four grown children and eight grandchildren. She loves gardening, playing the piano, writing, and going for long walks in the forest. But she especially likes to write truth that reads like fiction.
