This book is for kids, parents and caregivers everywhere who are navigating changes within their families. Let us all be kind, give grace to one another, and recognize that we are all doing the best we can with what we have.

I originally wrote this story when I was eight years old, grappling with complex feelings about my brother living in two houses-one with me, our mom, and my dad, and one with just him and his dad. Nearly 30 years later, I've reimagined it to share with the world in the hope of offering support and understanding to families that might look a little different from others.
