In 2019 the Texas Education Agency made it mandatory that all staff members complete human trafficking training, with this fact, students must receive mandatory training as well. Albert J. Garry On June 9, 2020, our daughter was taken from our home. As the parents, we were blindsided as human predators are skilled at getting children to keep secrets from their family members. Afterwards, our daughter's best friends in high school and college informed me that they knew our daughter was in trouble with someone, but our daughter asked them not to tell any parents, so they kept the 6-year secret because they did not understand what was taking place. Students must understand that they are being hunted and targeted by their classmates in all schools and communities. Ask your PTA President of your school for reading material and learn how to better protect yourself! Albert J. Garry
