Nikkolas: The Story of Santa Claus
This story, illustrated with 33 pieces of original art by John G. MacKenzie, is about the life of Santa Claus, from birth until death. Given up by his father because his mother died in childbirth, he grew up with a different family every year until he was fifteen years old and lived with a carpenter and his wife. There he learned the carpentry trade. He and his wife could not have children, so Nikkolas made wooden toys for everyone else's children and delivered them on Christmas Eve.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR: John G. MacKenzie, a Canadian, attended the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, and studied acting for one year. He then went to Humber College in Toronto to study film and television production, graduating with honors. His first love, though, is as a portrait artist and writing stories.

The artwork in this book is amazing, the uniqueness of the story with the teaching of Santa but keeping the true meaning of Christmas is very uplifting.
