Aouissi, Asma: - Asma Aouissi is the co-founder and author at MyKitab, where she creates dual-language Arabic-English books that bridge cultures and languages. As an Arab-American author born and raised in New York, she writes the stories she wished had existed during her childhood-authentic narratives that help bilingual children see themselves reflected in literature. She is passionate about creating inclusive children's literature and the transformative power of storytelling. Otto's Birthday Party is her debut picture book.

Milko, Ela: - Ela, born and raised in Poland, is an artist, illustrator, graphic designer, architect, and Reiki Master residing in New York City. She brings stories to life with vibrant, engaging artwork. She presented her art in multiple individual and group exhibitions in Poland and New York City.

Salleb, Ansaf: - Ansaf Salleb is a computer science professor and co-founder of MyKitab Publishers. She received the prestigious 2018 EAAI Educators Award for her work in AI education and serves as president of Aiphabet, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to AI literacy among pre-college students (Aiphabet.org). The illustrations of the birthday party in the ocean are beautiful and engaging, and Otto with his glasses is just adorable. Even Billy the shark isn't too scary, just the right amount of "mean" ) for little ones. Plus, it's the perfect bedtime length. Great book!

"I bought this book for my 3 year old son. The artwork is great and it has a wide variety of character. He like to point and ask "what is this". I was able to explain to him there is a whale, seahorse, octopus and fishes. He is happy about seeing the birthday party because he been to a bunch and point out that there is a cake. We sang baby shark when billy the shark entered the scene. Really enjoyed reading it to my son!"
