For as polarizing as worship ministry can be, there are many young and inexperienced men and women thrown into leadership without an adequate understanding of the weight this ministry carries. I believe there is a dire need for worship leaders to be led in learning how to lead themselves well long before even leading a congregation. This book aims to, at the very least, jumpstart that very thing. Worship ministry is incredibly deeper than singing songs for a block of time during a church service, the magnitude of which cannot be realized in our churches until it's realized in our leaders. Being able to navigate this landscape with a biblical compass and a perspective rooted in a firm understanding of true worship is paramount. We, as worshippers, must grasp the depths of what it means to wholly worship a holy God.
