Stick No Bills(R) was founded in the UNESCO living Heritage City of Galle Fort, Sri Lanka in 2011 by British entrepreneurs Philip James Baber and Meg Gage Williams to connect cultures and transcend borders by spearheading a renaissance in the poster art movement. The brand specializes in creating and promoting modern, vintage style graphic artwork designed to promote iconic destinations, institutions, and important cultural events. It combines this activity with the curation and revitalization of original mid-20th Century posters from the archives of internationally renowned institutions, which it restores and augments under authorization, to give them new, age-resistant leases of life for posterity. Apart from the original Stick No Bills(R) gallery in Galle Fort, Sri Lanka, they now also have a Global Printworks & Poster Gallery at Imprenta Nueva Balear (est. 1913) in Palma de Mallorca; Europe and Asia regional flagship galleries in Barcelona; an exhibition of Pan Am Master Editions in Piccadilly, London at Iconic Images Gallery; and open edition print sales at a further 65 certified third-party points of sale worldwide. The poster art specialists have had a presence in New York City resulting from their officially licenced supply of high-quality poster art to the Pan Am Museum under authorization of Pan Am LLC since 2021.
