Shadows of Control follows Haven, a genderfluid individual navigating the dystopian streets of Woeford City with the help of their loyal service dog, Spot. Woeford is a crumbling metropolis ruled by the oppressive Regulators, who deem anyone with physical or neurological differences as unworthy of inclusion in their so-called "perfect" society. Haven's struggle with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) makes every day a battle for survival and dignity in a world designed to marginalize them.

When Haven stumbles upon the symbol of the Freeborn-a mysterious resistance group fighting for liberation-their carefully guarded existence is upended. Drawn into the movement's covert struggle, Haven faces life-threatening missions, tests of loyalty, and internal fears about their identity and place in the world. With Spot as their unwavering ally, Haven finds themselves questioning their limits, their strength, and whether they truly belong in a movement fighting for a world they've never dared to imagine.
