About the Author

Sir Tony Robinson is one of the UK's best-loved personalities. He is an actor, comedian, TV presenter and keen amateur historian and is well known for Time Team and for playing Baldrick in Blackadder. Skulduggery is his 17th book for children.

Jamie Smith has worked as an illustrator for over 15 years. He says his first art-related memory was drawing a hamster to impress his new teacher. It was a fine hamster, and pencils and paper have been Jamie's constant companions ever since. He lives in Surrey, where he works in a studio at the bottom of the garden with a spaniel for company.
