Spreading the Gospel and the Spirit of Pentecost Volume Two

Ewuramma Hannah Boah

Pentecost is a prophecy of what God will do, and history truly does repeat itself. God's history foretells the experience of His entire people. What happened to the disciples of Jesus' days affects all His disciples of all ages in equal measure. God never begins a project and then abandons it; rather, He sees it through to completion. He never says anything and then changes His mind:

"God is not a man, that He should tell or act a lie, neither the son of man, that He should feel repentance or compunction [for what He has promised]. Has He said and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken and shall He not make it good?" (Numbers 23:19).

When God instituted Pentecost, He planned to generate a specific outcome, and God has been following it up until the desired result will be fully achieved. Thus, God had a plan for Pentecost to result in the Fellowship and, thus, in the Church.

God's work has been assembling people since the day of Pentecost. Once upon a time, humanity was dispersed. Humans erected the Tower of Babel which was supposed to be the center of unity, the arsenal of power, and the throne of supremacy, from which some mighty Nimrod could sway his sword over the entire human race: but God had better plans.

Praise for this book

Pentecost produced unstoppable evangelists, with Peter at the helm on the first day. Peter preached a sermon inspired by the Spirit of Pentecost as God had intended. As a result, Peter made all of his arguments concrete, personable, and compelling to the point where his audience felt thirsty for God:
