Ashkan Nabavi-Pelesaraei received his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Agricultural Mechanization Engineering from the University of Guilan, University of Tabriz, and University of Tehran, respectively, in 2012, 2014, and 2018. Ashkan worked as an Assistant Professor of Biosystems Engineering at Razi University in Kermanshah, Iran, and is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Environmental and Resource Engineering at Technical University of Denmark (DTU). In 2022, Dr. Nabavi-Pelesaraei was honored as "The Best Research Faculty Member of Razi University", and in 2023, his name was included in the "World's Top 1% Highly Cited Researchers" report by the ESI database (Clarivate) and in 2024, he was recognized as the "Seventh Most Cited Researcher in Life Cycle Assessment (Last 5 Years)" by ScholarGPS. He has published over 100 articles in journals such as Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews (IF: 15.9), Sustainable Production and Consumption (IF:12.1), Applied Energy (IF: 11.2), and Journal of Cleaner Production (IF: 11.1), among others. Ashkan serves on the Editorial Board of Data in Brief (Elsevier) and Sustainability (MDPI) and has reviewed manuscripts for over 100 peer-reviewed journals in Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, Taylor & Francis, and other publishers. His main research interests include life cycle assessment, waste management, life cycle cost, sustainability, and bioenergy.

Hamidinasab, Bahareh: - Bahareh Hamidinasab earned her bachelor's degree in Food Industry Machinery Engineering from Razi University in 2020 and completed her master's degree in Mechanical Biosystems Engineering at the same university in 2023. Currently, Bahareh is actively involved as a research assistant at Razi University, where she has been focusing on life cycle assessment of various technologies, waste management, and sustainability. Bahareh has managed numerous projects applying life cycle assessment (LCA) in biosystems engineering, including in the agri-food sector and waste management. The results of these projects have been published in peer-reviewed journals and deliverable reports in middle east, such as studies on the environmental assessment of solar technologies in the agri-food sector that has been published in the journal of Solar Energy., Elsevier. She has also served as a reviewer for Elsevier journals.
