The Arm of God: Resting in His Strength
The Arm of God (Forward) Our Flesh always looks for a peace that comes from this world rather than a peace that comes for Heaven. I hope I learn to rest in the peace that comes from knowing were I am going, rather than were I am. Gods peace doesn't come from us planning our lives out, it comes from us trusting Him with every moment of our lives. When we walk in the ways of God (His Commandments), and allow those commandments to be played out in our lives, we move from the place of just having the knowledge of God into becoming a living Image of Gods attributes to the world. Which is where the phrase comes: Don't just talk the talk, but walk the walk. Jesus, was and is, the visible Arm of God (Love). The Cross that He died on is a symbol of His strength revealed to men, and the reality of what the Son of God spoke to man. It is in His Love that we find our strength. A strength that we can all hold onto, a strength that can't be matched or destroyed. It is simple Truth. I am the way, the truth, and the life. When we walk in that truth, we are walking in His Strength.
