Hansel and Gretel escape the witch's gingerbread house but stumble into a cursed village haunted by the legend of the Pied Piper. The witch they defeated was merely one of many who fell under the Piper's spell, and the children realize the Piper's payment wasn't just the village's children, it was also their souls.
The Pied Piper reappears and targets Hansel and Gretel, offering to return the stolen children in exchange for something precious: their bond as siblings. Hansel becomes entranced by the Piper's music, while Gretel must confront her deepest fears, including the possibility of becoming a witch herself, to save her brother and break the Piper's curse for good.
