The centrality of employment in non-metropolitan conurbations

Josué Bengtson Brasil Rodrigues

This book seeks to identify and analyze the levels of centrality existing among the municipalities that make up the Microregion of Campo Grande-MS. Specifically, it sought to verify which are the productive sectors that drive the micro-region, estimating the regional employment multiplier for each municipality, in order to observe the magnitude of the impact of the productive sectors drivers in the generation of formal employment and, find the attractiveness potential exercised by each municipality through the Centrality Index. The theoretical approach is based on the Central Place Theory, proposed by Walter Christaller
