Opioid pill dealer Pierre "Possible" Jenkins is no pillar of the community, but he's no murderer either. To spare his best friend, Charlie, a lifetime behind bars, Possible, a first-time offender, takes the fall for a killing he didn't commit and is sentenced to a lengthy bit in state prison. In his absence, Possible's family is struggling financially, and that's just the start of his troubles. With the help of his cellmate, Deon "Sweaty" Washington, Possible adjusts to the life of a convict and finds that the only way he can help his family is to make money dealing marijuana to his fellow prisoners. Forming a crew with Sweaty and a few other felons, Possible sets out to become the big-time kingpin of the smoke trade, the predominant dealer on the yard.
