"Jacklyn Stone is back with another adventure. Once again she has her hands full. Her estranged son is determined to destroy her. He shows up at her house while she is having a get together with family. His sole purpose is to wreck havoc and cause Jacklyn pain and anguish. Another plot in the book involves the kidnapping of a 13 year old girl. Her mother, Irene Fishburne, is frantic. She returns home find her daughter missing. She is beside herself. She has her suspicions as to who the kidnapper is.

What a thrilling ride this book was. Extremely well written and engaging. Susan Specht Oram knows how to get her readers attention from the very beginning of the book.

I love the tough, resilient character of Jackie who stays one step ahead of her son and her friends who rally around her. The chapters are short and bounce back and forth between the party and kidnapping. The plot is intense and exciting. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the ending will leave you wanting more.
