Creepy tales for young and old. D.S. Christopher Hubert was a fan of classic scary tales by writers like H.P. Lovecraft, Robert E. Howard, Arthur Conan Doyle, and Ray Bradbury. He and his friend, D.C. Jeanes would tell tales in high school, comparing notes and sharing theories about myths and monsters. After serving in the US Army, D.S. Christopher (as he was called by close friends) became a journalist, investigating strange occurrences in the northeast. One day, while on a long investigation in the Midwest, D.S. simply disappeared. Years later, D.C. Jeanes received a large box in the mail, full of stories he and D.S. worked on when younger, strange photographs and drawings, and no return address.
Collected here are the first of many such stories (and a few sketches by D.S. Christopher and friend, E. James David). It is our hope you can enjoy the scary stories (in the dark, if you like), but we also hope readers can find details about D.S. disappearance. Thank you for reading!
