It's been over a decade since Rae Fairclough last saw her father, and she would have preferred to keep it that way. Except, he had to waltz back into her life while on his deathbed to transfer the Fairclough Grimoire. At Argus, she meets the Cassius Vale the Third, a Sorcerer with a quick wit and sharp cheekbones. Though her father warned her to trust no one, she finds herself quickly becoming attached to Cass and the salvation he offers.
