Eight-year-old Jason has endured the remnants of the 22nd nuclear conflagration and is deprived of food, warmth and basic necessities. Jason is a casualty of a 23rd strike in New York and ends up in Hell due to his contempt for God. While a resident of Hell, Jason is abducted by angelic warriors who are engaging in a war with Hell, and he ends up God's servant and aid. Despite his servitude, Jason gains God's trust and is confided in. God who is overwhelmed uses Jason to aid in judgement of pederasts and Republicans. And eventually an overwrought but righteous God permits Jason to take over the duties as an all-powerful being who tortures those who disagree with him. God tries entertainment as a vocation and fails at soft shoe and rap as Jason straightens out humanity. God tries standup comedy, and Jason focuses on repairing the human race. It turns out, God is a real funny guy, and Jason is a natural as an onipotent.
