About the Author

Elaine, Sheree: - Sheree Elaine is passionate about reading, specifically reading to children. So, naturally, her writing journey was sparked by the idea of a series of books that could be read aloud to her own children and enjoyed by parents and children around the world. She's a city girl who married a farm boy and together they have jumped from small town to small town for over 10 years. Sheree finds time to write during naptime and bedtime, working around the schedules of her husband and four kids. Sheree has a degree in Communications, over a decade of parenting experience, and a big black dog named Ren.

Praise for this book

"My daughter and I loved reading about the King family! She loves science so the fact that John was entering a science fair was a huge hit with her. We loved the silliness of all the children, and how family oriented the story is. As well as the mystery of the missing pen. My daughter was absolutely captivated and we talked through clues to see if we could figure out where the pen went ourselves. A wonderful story to read with your children!" -5 star Amazon Review

"I love reading books to my grandkids. This is a chapter book that my beginning readers can read to me. It's short enough to keep them engaged with that feeling of accomplishment of reading a whole book. It is a positive model of real life family interactions and is a simple mystery book that can be a stepping stone more advanced mysteries as they get older. I highly recommend!" -5 star Amazon Review

"I always love a good mystery and enjoy those happy solutions at the end. Being a retired school teacher, I give the author two thumbs up for the creative way she keeps the attention of kids who love to solve a problem and just enjoy reading!" -5 star Amazon Review
