Johnson, Jane Cleere: - Jane Cleere Johnson is the mother of six children, grandmother of nine. She is a long-time member of The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, is a graduate of The Institute of Children's Literature, and has had stories published in children's magazines like The Friend and knowonder! She has a BA in English and American Literature and an MS in Special Education. Jane worked as a teacher of remarkable children for many years and is now retired. She enjoys spending her time creating and participating in imaginative adventures with her grandchildren, writing to her hearts content, and sitting with all the windows of her sunroom open as she reads a good book and sips on herbal tea.
