This book is a collection of two of my books: On Forgiveness, and To Be Loved, Love. They go together nicely, so I have arranged them in this single edition for your enjoyment. The main idea in these two books is to explain human psychology using logic, and to present a theory of emotions such that emotions make sense and can be understood, provided that you have this theoretical framework with which to understand emotions. On Forgiveness introduces the theory of emotions, and then To Be Loved, Love formalizes this theory with a rigorous formal symbolic system of logic that describes emotions. Central to this book's thesis is the belief that emotions are not a senseless irrational random chaos, and that people have feelings for reasons, because of things, and emotions are a specific type of thing that has a nature that you can understand, so it is useful to analyze the human mind and human psychology by means of math, logic, and reason.
If you want to live a better life, be happy, improve your emotional health, and be able to motivate yourself and others to do what you want, then you really need to read this book.
