Sixteen-year-old Kayleigh has just found herself stranded on a desert island after a school trip gone wrong. She's in good company however, as she strikes up an unlikely friendship with a merman...who's also a thousand years old! As he's also the only merman that can walk on land like a human, he's got quite a lot of life stories to tell Kayleigh while she waits.
