The Twilighters: Road Trip
The story follows two old friends who met during their service as Australian submariners.These two old guys are rascals like many submariners of their era, and they are not ready to slow down or follow a normal retirement plan. The idea of road trip to re kindle their friendship and escape the tyranny of a repressive aged care resort sees them on the road together with a plan to meet up with their wives at a veteran's conventions in another state. Their trip turns into a series of humorous events and mishaps as these two older anti-Woke old guys crash around the countryside on their way to the convention. Some of their attitudes and ramblings may shock but they are the honest exchanges that a lot of older men express to each other when away from the public glare. The road trip is the perfect setting for these two express themselves and their individual philosophies on life.

About the Author
Wesenlund, Thor: - Thor Wesenlund is an Australian born author from a Norwegian father and Irish mother. Thor has worked in script editing and short stories part time since 1979. His early life in the Navy as a submariner and later as an engineer and pilot gave him a varied canvas of experiences and views of the world. His writing is drawn from many experiences over his 70+ years on earth and his travels to many remote parts of the planet and interaction with people. His challenge in retirement was to capture some of those experiences and make them entertaining and to leave something for his grandchildren and the charities he supports.
