The Ultimate Quiz Quest

Tim Bourke

A new, intelligent novelty title that delivers a range of political and historical questions followed by their solutions. For any sharp brain that likes a challenge!

Following the success of their debut quiz book, The Ultimate Politics and History Quiz, authors William Scally and Tim Bourke set to work in 2025 to round up a brand new series of questions that would cover even broader ground. This time out, The Ultimate Quiz Quest incorporates not only matters of international historical and political import, but presents curious, keen, and again, always challenging questions from the realms of general knowledge. Nothing, you might say, is sacred, from the media, the delights of advertising and the vagaries of film and television. Thus, in The Ultimate QUIZ QUEST, Bourke and Scally at once provide intellectual entertainment and some high-end trivia from the last five decades for a deal of mischievous fun. The result is 400 thought-provoking queries, together with their exceptionally diverse solutions. While some are relatively straightforward, many pose quite the conundrum. The brain that likes a challenge will relish this book.

About the Author

Bourke, Tim: - Tim Bourke worked as a senior executive in the agri-food sector and as a consultant in various areas of industry, together with educational and social research projects. He has also had a long term involvement in politics at academic, policy and grass roots level. An elite thinker, he passes much time observing and commenting on the machinations of humanity down the ages and across the continents. He enjoys nothing more than engaging with the great unknowns of the day. He delights in posing the abstruse question that requires an acrobatic mental agility to lead to the solution.
Scally, William: - William Scally's working career spanned the semi-state corporate spectrum, the political arena, and working as policy adviser to various governments. He also worked as a public policy consultant and lecturer in adult education. A quintessential analyst and formidable interlocutor, he takes considerable pleasure in putting the knowledge quotient of family and friends on trial. That he has access to the solutions increases his enjoyment tenfold, as the quizzed strain their brains not alone to arrive at the answer but, frequently, to arrive at the very question.
