The Warrior
Young Vinay is taken from his parents to start his life in the Regum-Fac, an army of skilled warriors whose aim is to overthrow a regime that keeps their people, The Regum, repressed as an underclass.
Though Vinay forgets the details of the event, the feeling of love his parents had from him stay lodged in his subconsciousness. Over sixteen years, he is trained in the way of the Regum-Fac by his master, Uni, the leader of the Regum-Fac within the city of Opanax. On the eve of war, Vinay finds himself hesitant and unprepared for the killing that is to come.
When the revolution starts, the Regum-Fac are triumphant, but while Vinay is sent to kill their repressors, he encounters Phyx, the Brevet of Death, a demi-God who, along with the other Brevets, keep the natural world in balance. He is unwilling to kill her and allows her to flee. After reporting this to Uni, he is outcast.
But this is only the beginning of a journey which sees him travel the length and breadth of Crescent Moon Bay, form unlikely alliances, and battle a mysterious force that has been silently guiding events.
