The book presents a socio-historiograph of Manipur. The evolution of the state in a span of thirty years that will culminate in the violence of 2023. It is a first hand account of the Manipur Violence. It delves into past experiences, re analyzes the history of the land that has come to shape the harrowing reality we Manipuris call 'Life'. A narrative that questions the mainstream historical narratives, the perspective of a wandering Manipuri kid. Perhaps, through this book, I might be able to tell the many things Manipuris themselves are not told about. The pain, anguish, the amnesia - a voice. The book is Manipur speaking for herself.

The interpretations are personal reflections or opinions. Perhaps with this book, I will immortalize the pain and loss that needs to be told. Through the poems and essays, the book paints the social, historical, political and the Manipuri Ideals - The Manipuri Dream.
