The Wobbly Stick Man
Imagine what it would be like if the very stick figure you drew on paper came to life. This is a silly story about just that. Unfortunately, the stick figure runs into issues when he tries to stand and move around. His body is out of balance! He has to use a pencil and draw shapes to become more stable. This book is a fun way to get kids to move from drawing stick figures to using shapes to draw people. It is one of the first lessons that I teach in my elementary kindergarten art classes to get kids to start thinking about using shapes to draw.
