Through My Eyes

Eleanor Barlow

In my poetry book I have explored the many relationships and bonds I have formed along the way and have celebrated the people who have enriched my life for the better. This poetry book will take you on a rollercoaster of highs and lows and everything in between. It is my journey over the last couple of years which have been rocky to say the least but also full of growth, determination and persistence. This poetry book follows a similar theme to my first book 'The Sun Behind The Clouds' but it builds more on the people who have come into my life over the years whilst also following my journey towards a better mental and physical health.

About the Author

Barlow, Eleanor: - Eleanor Barlow spends time writing poetry for fun but also as a therapeutic tool to express and explore emotions, feelings and ideas. Poetry for Eleanor is a way to connect with herself and the people around her. When Eleanor is not working at the charity Bipolar UK she spends time at the Recovery College where she is learning ways to manage her mental health; by building a toolkit of skills to use at her disposal. Eleanor also enjoys spending time in the kitchen and volunteers weekly at The Kitchen Roots Community centre where she supports Emma, Manahara and the team. Eleanor helps with the food prep, the cooking and also making the deserts in preparation for the community lunch on a Tuesday. Eleanor finds this work extremely rewarding.
