True Life is a profoundly meaningful short story about a robin named Prokopios, who is stranded on a deserted island. Reality is incredibly difficult for the poor bird, as months have now passed without him being rescued. What is the meaning of it all? Why has his life come to this?

It would seem as if little Prokopios is all alone in the world, without anyone who can save him. Yet, he is not alone, for Christ is with him. Only the Lord wishes to teach the robin an invaluable lesson - as Prokopios discovers the transitory nature of this earthly existence of ours.
