Violet is fast asleep when a talking space dog bursts through her closet door with an urgent message: "You need to come with me to save a planet!" In an instant, she's swept from her bedroom to the stars, where she meets BugMan, a friendly alien from a faraway galaxy.

Together, they race to a mysterious space station to seek the help of Igneous, a powerful space wizard with a desperate plan to stop Obsidian - an evil sorceress draining the life from an entire world. With time running out, Violet must find the courage to face the darkness and discover why she may be the key to saving the planet.
